Congestion Pricing

I am not yet convinced that congestion pricing is good policy, but I am starting to come around.

Smells like socialism. The governemnt gets to tell me when and where I can go depending on how much money I have... You and coyne go start your own party. See how popular you get when you start telling us how much internet we can watch too.

The government under this proposal would do no such thing. Access to roads are a good that is produced by the government and is heavily subsidized by non-users. I don't drive downtown but my tax dollars are being used to maintain those roads. This fee would ensure that users pay for more of the costs and will prevent overuse.
