Unfortunately the Conservative government has done absolutely nothing to eliminate crony capitalism. If anything, they are continuing to aid and abet.

dubya, my comment indirectly refers to the Mike Brock link. Big business hates competition which is why they embrace regulation. They know that the onus of most regulation is on the proprietor. That costs a lot of time and money which most small businesses, especially small cap businesses, can't afford. The Conservatives, the party that many of us thought was the party that would end this bullshit, has so far failed small business miserably. What is the point of an HST if there is no competition?
how many people have been employed by the poor? get many contracts from those on welfare? not so much i'll bet. if you took every dime the rich in the u.s. have it would not run the government for six months. i would say the same is true of canada.
